About Me 2

Chapter 2

I have been married to my wonderful wife, Kristin, for 19 years. We have no children but have hosted high school age foreign exchange students. Our host children are Katya (Kate) from Kazan, Russia, and Ah-reum (Autumn) from Daegu, South Korea. We also have three cats and two dogs. Our cats are Leah, Perry and Sammy.  Our dogs are Joey and Molly. We lost Leah for three years and the Humane Society found her and identified her thanks to her microchip. We had a forth cat named Herbie. He died in 2019. Pictures of Herbie are below. Let's see. What else? Oh, and cat Perry is in love with cat Leah. Dog Joey is in love with dog Molly.

I learned in 2012 that I am autistic. Things make so much more sense now. In 2013 I was diagnosed with a subtle form of epilepsy that I may have had my hold life. I have misinterpreted certain experiences and dizziness, nausea, heat exhaustion, and high blood sugar. It is none of the above. It is Partial Onset Epilepsy. Since awareness of these two conditions I have been more active in those communities

I love astronomy. It is my passion. I am going to correct some mistakes I made when I was younger by going to school and getting a degree in astronomy. Wondering about the beauties and mysteries of the universe keeps me sane. I also love to read. In the words of Thomas Jefferson, "I cannot live without books." I am not talking about popular literature. I am talking about academic level books. Anyone can market a book nowadays. Academics have to follow certain rules that all academics prescribe to.
Well anyway that is who I am. That is my life. Please see  the gallery of my family in chapter 3 by clicking here.
